Lakota Dance Troupe Returns to Skippack

Saturday, November 11th will mark the 11th annual return of Deer Chaser, Lakota Dance Troupe.

Led by Marvin Clifford, Chuck Wilcox and Wesley Newholy, Deer Chaser is a group of Lakota youth from Pine Ridge Reservation in S. Dakota. The goal of Deerchaser is to spread the history and culture of the Lakota people through Dance, Song and Story.

Please join us on Sunday, Nov. 11 from 10am to 6pm, rain or shine, for this wonderful event. All proceeds will go to Deer Chaser to continue its ongoing efforts to raise awareness about the Lakota people.

Donation: $10 for adults, children under 12 are free. Bring lawn chair and blanket. This will be an outdoor event, weather permitting.

Sunday Evening, February 18th, starting at 7:00 PM

Experience the monks chanting mystical prayers offering healing and spiritual wisdom, while contributing to the preservation of the endangered Tibetan culture.

Excellent silver jewelry, pure wool shawls, gem stone beads and other items from the Himalayan region, richly embroidered tablecloths and other tapestries handcrafted in the monastery by the monks will be available for sale.
